<h2>Sales Manager – Power, Petrochemical & Energy</h2>
<p>UK / Europe (Hybrid + Travel) | Full-Time | Permanent</p>
<p>We are currently partnering with a <strong>global engineering manufacturer</strong> to recruit a <strong>Sales Manager</strong> focused on developing direct relationships with <strong>end users across power generation, petrochemical, and industrial energy sectors</strong>.</p>
<p>This is a key strategic role, centred around <strong>account development and long-term partnerships</strong>, rather than purely project-based EPC sales.</p>

<h2>The Role</h2>
<p>This role is focused on building and growing relationships with <strong>end users such as plant operators, asset owners, and industrial facilities</strong>, supporting both new equipment sales and aftermarket opportunities.</p>
<p>You will take ownership of key accounts while identifying opportunities for <strong>upgrades, replacements, and lifecycle solutions</strong>.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Developing strong, long-term relationships with <strong>end users across power, petrochemical, and energy sectors</strong></li>
<li>Identifying opportunities for <strong>retrofit, upgrade, and replacement projects</strong></li>
<li>Driving both <strong>new equipment and aftermarket sales</strong></li>
<li>Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on performance, efficiency, and reliability improvements</li>
<li>Managing a pipeline of opportunities across multiple sites and customers</li>
<li>Conducting site visits, technical discussions, and solution presentations</li>
<li>Collaborating with internal engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions</li>
<li>Supporting contract negotiations and closing deals</li>
<li>Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities within energy transition initiatives</li>
</ul>
<h2>The Candidate</h2>
<p>We are looking for a commercially strong individual with experience selling into <strong>industrial end users</strong>, ideally within energy or process environments.</p>
<h3>Essential:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in <strong>technical sales or account management</strong></li>
<li>Experience selling <strong>directly to end users / plant operators</strong></li>
<li>Background in <strong>power generation, petrochemical, or industrial energy sectors</strong></li>
<li>Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Commercial awareness and ability to manage long sales cycles</li>
<li>Willingness to travel across customer sites</li>
</ul>

<li>Base salary to £70,000</li>
