About the Role
Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineer for medical device manufacturer based in Swindon. This is a permanent position.<br><br>Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch break.<br>Salary £45000-£50000 DOE<br><br><strong>Main duties:</strong><br><ul><li>Providing Electrical/Mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing & their processes while always adhering to GMP standards. </li><ul><li>Support to achieve production output standards</li><li>Maintain Production Machinery and spare parts</li><li>Plan Preventative Maintenance(PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs</li><li>Respond quickly to machine breakdowns</li><li>Monitor machine performance</li><li>Analyse & monitor breakdown frequencies</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, records, and performance data</li><li>Ensure safe systems of work are in place and adhered to</li></ul></ul><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical)</li><ul><li>Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including fault finding and machinery repair.</li><li>Willingness to learn new skills</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive</li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)</li><li>City & Guilds, NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Installation preferred but not essential.</li></ul></ul><strong>Desirable:</strong><br><ul><li>18th Edition</li><ul><li>H&S Qualifications</li><li>Experience in pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment</li></ul></ul>If you have experience as a maintenance engineer or relevant skill then please apply or call our Swindon Branch and speak to Aleks.
