Full-time | Technical/Commercial | HBO/WO level
We are looking for a Tender Manager to strengthen the commercial and tendering process within a technical project environment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive tenders, ensuring that calculations, schedules, and documentation meet client requirements and internal quality standards. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality proposals that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to align tender strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and submit professional, competitive tenders.
- Gather technical, financial, and scheduling input from various departments.
- Perform cost calculations and review supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Contribute to customer-focused tender documentation.
- Continuously improve tendering tools and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in handling variations (additional or reduced work).
- Ensure smooth transfer of tender documentation to the project execution team.
Candidate Profile
- Completed HBO or WO degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or engineering environment.
- Proven experience with cost calculations.
- Skilled in reading 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Proactive, results-driven, and stress-resistant.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
