We’re supporting a warm and nurturing primary school in Whitby seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role is perfect for someone who loves supporting young children through play‑based learning, early phonics and social development. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
✨ Supporting early phonics, literacy and number work
✨ Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive social interaction
✨ Assisting with continuous provision and creative play
✨ Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
✨ Helping maintain a warm, inclusive classroom environment
