About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support both office operations and production workflow within a raw egg manufacturing environment. This role is primarily office‑based but requires ongoing communication with key production team members. As a growing company, we need someone flexible, adaptable, and comfortable taking on evolving responsibilities as business needs change.
Key Responsibilities
Provide customer service support and respond to customer inquiries
Send sales order confirmations to customers
Enter new orders into the production schedule
Communicate order status updates to customers
Prepare and send purchase orders to suppliers as needed
Serve as backup for shipping and receiving tasks
Assist with basic inventory control duties
Coordinate closely with production staff to ensure accurate and timely information flow
Support general administrative tasks in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment
Skills and Experience
Customer service experience
Food manufacturing experience preferred
Warehouse or general manufacturing experience also preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Strong mathematical skills
Bilingual candidates preferred (English & Spanish)
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Flexibility to take on changing responsibilities as the company grows
