About the Role
<p>As a <strong>Heavy Vehicle Mechanic</strong>, you will ensure that trucks remain safe, reliable, and ready for the road. You will work on modern trucks from various brands, including <strong>DAF</strong>, using advanced diagnostic equipment. Your Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform <strong>maintenance</strong> and <strong>repairs </strong>on <strong>trucks </strong>(DAF and other brands);</li><li>Diagnose and repair <strong>mechanical </strong>and <strong>electronic </strong>faults;</li><li>Carry out technical inspections (APK) and road tests;</li><li>Work with modern diagnostic equipment;</li><li>Communicate work progress with the workshop manager;</li><li>Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant workshop experience;</li><li>Strong technical skills and a hands-on mentality;</li><li>Responsible attitude with a strong focus on quality;</li><li>Team player with a customer-oriented mindset;</li><li>English language skills at B1/B2 level;</li><li>Valid Category B driving licence (mandatory);</li><li>Category C/CE driving licence is an advantage;</li><li>APK certification is an advantage;</li><li>EU citizenship (mandatory).</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive gross monthly salary between <strong>€2,864</strong> and <strong>€4,324</strong>, depending on your experience;</li><li>40-hour working week with 2 ADV hours accrued per week;</li><li>Option to exchange ADV hours for 13 additional vacation days per year or receive an additional 7.5% gross monthly salary;</li><li>Full-time contract with long-term career opportunities;</li><li>Overtime opportunities for additional earnings;</li><li>Weekly salary payments with pension accrual from your first working day;</li><li>24 vacation days per year (20 vacation days + 5 vacation days paid weekly with your salary);</li><li>8% holiday allowance, paid weekly with your salary;</li><li>Dutch health insurance included.</li></ul><p><strong>Accommodation & Transport</strong></p><ul><li>Certified, clean accommodation with a private bedroom;</li><li>Daily transport between your accommodation and the workplace;</li><li>Accommodation conveniently located near shops, public transport, and the workplace.</li></ul><p><strong>About Us: </strong>We are a professional and dedicated team specializing in connecting international talent with trusted employers across the Netherlands.
