About the Role
<p>The Power Project Assistant Manager will support the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager with various project management tasks. This role will involve working on a variety of projects in industries such as aviation, commercial building, oil & gas, and power generation.</p>
<ul>
<li>Follow company safety programs and collaborate with project team on Safety & Health performance.</li>
<li>Build client relationships and interface with clients for project related items.</li>
<li>Assist in internal and external project risk reviews and consult with Legal Department as needed.</li>
<li>Develop and implement project plans and coordinate project permits.</li>
<li>Negotiate and execute various contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.</li>
<li>Support site mobilization and demobilization and secure project permits.</li>
<li>Coordinate bidder registration and pre-qualification efforts.</li>
<li>Prepare RFPs and support bid and selection process.</li>
<li>Implement project specifications, drawing releases, and design changes.</li>
<li>Handle contract administration, including RFI’s, submittals, and change management.</li>
<li>Assist with project cost reporting, scheduling, and closeout processes.</li>
<li>Prepare and report project status, risks, and costs at meetings.</li>
<li>Coordinate project documentation and filing systems.</li>
<li>Verify insurance and licensures for project contractors and suppliers.</li>
<li>Conduct project audits and assessments as required.</li>
<li>Manage materials receiving and inventory control.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance of subcontractor’s contract documents and safety requirements.</li>
<li>Facilitate project turnover documentation and close out processes.</li>
<li>Assist with project labor agreements and craft supervision onboarding.</li>
<li>Analyze labor and equipment costs and ensure compliance with labor laws.</li>
<li>Maintain craft progression records and manage construction equipment inventory.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as needed and travel 100%.</li>

<p>Qualifications</p>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of construction experience.</li>
<li>Experience may be substituted for degree requirement.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.</li>
<li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Experience in construction project sites or program management preferred.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of accounting principles.</li>
<li>Must meet company’s driving requirements.</li>
