Key Responsibilities Operations: Report to the Head of Finance and supervise the day-to-day financial operations Work closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) team to manage month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting. Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities Preparation of management reports for Senior Management review Preparation of cost allocation and intercompany recharges to other related entities in Asia Pacific Tax: Ensure full compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. SST, WHT, e-invoice) Prepare and ensure timely submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings, including deferred tax calculations and other tax matters with the Tax Authority. Lead annual Transfer Pricing documentation and liaise with external consultants to mitigate tax risks. Audit: Coordinate with external auditor for annual audit procedures and required schedules for the Malaysian entity. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) Support and ensure compliance with all statutory filing requirements. Others: Assist in identifying and implementation of best practices on internal controls and process improvements. Work closely with the SSC team to manage month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting to head office and management team. Support head office initiatives to improve finance processes across Asia Pacific. May be required to support Head of Finance to supervise financial operations for Singapore entity. Assist in other projects and ad-hoc assignment as required. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly preferred. Big 4 audit experience or prior experience as a Finance Manager is an advantage. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, IFRS, and statutory financial reporting. Experience supervising tax and audit procedures for both Malaysia and Singapore entities is required. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
