Position Overview:
A skilled Upholstery Sewing Specialist is needed to support production of high-quality marine and automotive upholstery. This role focuses on sewing, fabrication, repair, and installation of durable materials such as canvas, vinyl, and leather. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in working with industrial fabrics and upholstery tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sew large canvas and upholstery products, primarily for boats
• Perform cutting, sewing, and quality control of finished products
• Work with industrial materials including vinyl, canvas, foam, and leather
• Measure, cut, and assemble upholstery components such as seats and cushions
• Repair or replace damaged upholstery on boats and vehicles
• Operate upholstery tools and basic woodworking equipment
• Install finished products, ensuring proper fit and clean finish
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Communicate project details, timelines, and progress as needed

Required Skills:

• Strong sewing skills (required)
• Basic woodworking or fabrication experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
