Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Redditch.

We’re on the hunt for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a technically challenging role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a range of machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

• Time-served Engineer with a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous).
• Able to read technical drawings and work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.

Salary - £37,5000 / annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 15:30 and Friday 06:30 - 12:30 (guaranteed overtime - 10 hours per week)
