About the role:

justteachers is seeking a part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist primary SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role begins in September 2026 and will continue until July 2027, offering a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in the Primary Key Stages with a variety of additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1/2 in their academic and personal development.
• Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Promote communication, social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
• Encourage independence and celebrate pupil achievements.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
