About the Role

Marketing Executive (5263) Marketing Executive

The Growth Company’s (GC) Marketing team have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Executive to support the Marketing Manager in planning and executing marketing activities, taking ownership of key actions and workstreams. This role involves creating high-quality, industry-aligned marketing content while ensuring best practices. It also requires managing relationships with partners on specific projects and leading communication with internal and external stakeholders to effectively brief, coordinate, and deliver marketing activities on time and within budget.

GM Business Growth Hub (GMBGH) supports businesses across Greater Manchester with expert advice on funding, innovation, people, sales and sustainability. We provide tailored support to meet the needs of each business at every stage of its growth journey.

This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week in our Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and raise awareness of GM Business Growth Hub services.
  • Manage and optimise digital channels, including the website, social media and email marketing platforms.
  • Create engaging content for online and offline campaigns, tailored to a range of business audiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance, producing reports and insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Support the promotion and delivery of events, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

About You:

  • An enthusiastic and proactive marketing professional with experience delivering successful campaigns.
  • A confident communicator with excellent copywriting and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Data-driven and commercially aware, using insights to improve campaign performance and engagement.
  • Passionate about business growth and making a positive impact across Greater Manchester.

Skills Required:

  • Experience working in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, including CMS platforms, email marketing systems, social media scheduling tools and Google Analytics.
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills across a variety of channels.
  • Ability to analyse marketing data and produce meaningful performance reports and recommendations.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, event promotion and stakeholder engagement activities.
