Job Title: QA Automation Engineer / Business Analyst (Playwright)

Location: Plano, TX

Role Overview:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer / Business Analyst with strong experience in Playwright automation, QA methodologies, and end-to-end business process validation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple applications and microservices-based systems.

This role requires strong experience in both manual and automation testing, along with business analysis capabilities to translate requirements into actionable development and testing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with stakeholders across departments to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and system specifications
• Conduct impact analysis and gap assessments to support solution design
• Define business rules and ensure alignment between business and technical teams
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

QA & Testing Activities

• Develop test plans and test strategies for multiple applications and business processes
• Perform System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Conduct UAT coordination and defect analysis/troubleshooting
• Ensure quality across end-to-end application workflows and microservices-based systems

Automation Testing

• Develop and execute automation test scripts using Playwright (primary)
• Experience with Selenium or other automation tools is required
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test suites
• Integrate automation scripts into testing lifecycle for regression and functional testing
• Ensure stability and scalability of test automation frameworks

Functional & Technical Understanding

• Understand microservices architecture and application workflows
• Validate end-to-end system flows across multiple applications
• Identify dependencies and support cross-functional resolution of issues

Quality Assurance Practices

• Apply QA methodologies and best practices across SDLC
• Ensure defect tracking, reporting, and resolution management
• Maintain high-quality test documentation including manual test cases and test plans
