Residence Operations Manager Tasks/Responsibilities: Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls. Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edges. Gather and remove litter. Haul or spread topsoil, and spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Trim and clean flower beds. Water lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Use of hand tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand pruners, hedge and brush trimmers, aerators, fertilizer spreaders, machete and axes. Use of power tools & equipment and machines such as leaf blowers, hedge saws, string trimmers, trenchers, tillers, chain saws, lawn mowers (walk behind, stand on or rider), tractor & trailer, sprayers (handheld, backpack or tank). Sweeping of guest corridor pathway every day. Key requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in landscaping, grounds keeping, or horticulture is a plus. Familiarity with landscaping equipment and techniques. Valid driver's license may be required, depending on role. Basic knowledge of plant care, soil, and garden maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain landscaping machinery and tools. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong work ethic and reliability. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Outdoor work environment in varying weather conditions. Physically demanding; includes lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods. May require early morning or weekend work, especially in peak seasons.
