TMM Recruitment are supporting a global organisation in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a 12-month basis. This is a varied role offering exposure across multiple finance processes, suited to someone organised, detail-focused, and keen to develop within a busy environment.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals.
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries, maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
- Supporting scheduled and ad-hoc payment cycles across multiple entities.
- Performing bank reconciliations across multi-currency accounts.
- Handling recurring payment transactions including direct debits and standing orders.
- Maintaining and updating debtor records and reporting trackers.
- Supporting collection activities and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Processing employee expenses in line with policy and timelines.
- Assisting with journal postings and finance inbox management.
- Contributing to month-end close activities across ledgers.
Applicants to this role require:
- Previous experience within a similar, varied accounts role.
- Ability to use accounting software, Dynamics AX preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisation skills with attention to detail.
- Team-focused attitude, with clear communication skills and a proactive approach.
