A welcoming primary school in Skipton is seeking a skilled and motivated Year 5/6 Teacher to join their Upper Key Stage 2 team for two days per week.
About the role: The successful candidate will support pupils in preparation for the challenges of Year 6 and secondary school, delivering engaging lessons that promote high standards of achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 5/6 curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing confidence and independence.
- Assess and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Upper KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
