Sirius Talent is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician for an opportunity in Tualatin, OR. The technician will be responsible for performing cylinder and drum changes across gas and chemical systems, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The role supports a large fleet of 500+ distribution tools and equipment from multiple vendors. Job title : Gas/Chemical technicianLocation : Tualatin, ORContract duration : 1 year (temp to hire)Pay : $27/hr Shift : M - F for training then will move to assigned shift (TBD)Must be clean shaved Key Responsibilities :Perform cylinder and drum changes on gas and chemical distribution systemsSupport troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas/chemical delivery equipmentConduct preventative maintenance and basic safety process activitiesFollow strict safety, environmental, and quality protocolsSupport installation and decommissioning of equipment systemsMaintain accurate documentation and technical logsWork with 500+ tools/equipment across multiple vendorsParticipate in technical training and certification programsWork 12-hour shifts, including nights and rotating schedulesMinimum Qualifications :High school diploma or technical training/degreeMechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experienceBasic electrical/electronic understandingAbility to work safely in industrial environmentsStrong communication and technical writing skillsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedulesPreferred Qualifications :Experience with gas/chemical distribution systemsMilitary (Navy Nuclear or mechanical background)Semiconductor, industrial maintenance, or facilities experienceExposure to hazardous chemicals/gases Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
