<p><strong>Geotechnical Engineer</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location: Maidstone</strong></p>
<p><strong>Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)</strong></p>
<p>An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer with a few years of industry experience to join a well-established and growing consultancy in Maidstone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step from an entry-level position into a more autonomous, technically involved role, working across a diverse portfolio of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects.</p>
<p>You will be joining a collaborative team of specialist consultants, gaining exposure to a wide range of ground investigation, geotechnical design, and environmental projects, with clear opportunities for career progression and professional development.</p>
<p><strong>The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Key responsibilities of the Geotechnical role will include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Planning, supervising, and managing ground investigation projects</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Interpreting ground investigation data and preparing factual and interpretive reports</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Undertaking geotechnical assessments and producing design recommendations (e.g. foundations, earthworks)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Carrying out and reviewing contaminated land risk assessments</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer role you should have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Relevant industry experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong report writing and data interpretation skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Live in or near to Maidstone</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A full, clean UK driving licence</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Eligibility to work in the UK</p>
</li>
