About the Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well-established organisation on a fixed-term basis until approximately the end of the year. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service, handling end-to-end processing, reconciliations, and employee queries.

    

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Calculating statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP, etc.).
  • Managing payroll inputs including new starters, leavers, salary adjustments, and timesheet data.
  • Managing pension processing and reporting.
  • Maintaining absence records and producing reports.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries across the organisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC, pension, and GDPR regulations.

   

          

Applicants to this role require

  • Proven experience within a busy payroll environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
