<p class="MsoNormal">Health & Welfare and Retirement Benefits Senior Specialist , Total Rewards</p><p class="MsoNormal">We are seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven Health & Welfare and Retirement Benefits Senior Specialist to help optimize and support our health & welfare and Retirement programs for thousands of employees. In this role, you will combine benefits expertise, analytical skills, and operational discipline to ensure our plans are administered accurately, remain compliant, and continuously improve. You will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience while supporting core benefits initiatives across the organization.</p><p class="MsoNormal">________________________________________</p><p class="MsoNormal">What You’ll Do</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Support day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental, leave, disability, retirement and wellness programs.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Contribute to annual open enrollment, plan renewals, and employee communications to deliver a seamless and consistent experience.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Analyze health & welfare and retirement benefits data and develop dashboards and reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Track vendor performance, service metrics, and contractual obligations to drive accountability and improved outcomes.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Ensure ongoing compliance with any and all applicable federal and state regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADAAA, IRS, DOL, etc.)</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Assist with health & welfare and retirement audits, regulatory filings, and updates to plan documents, SPDs, plan amendments, and summary materials.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Maintain and enhance internal processes, standard operating procedures, and benefits documentation.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen data accuracy, and improve overall employee satisfaction.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Respond to employee benefit inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Partner closely with HRIS, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure clean data, accurate integrations, and operational excellence.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the health & welfare and retirement benefit functions.</p><p class="MsoNormal">________________________________________</p><p class="MsoNormal">What You Bring</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> 5+</span><span style="mso-spacerun:yes;"> </span>years of progressive experience in employee benefits, HR operations, or Total Rewards.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Strong understanding of health & welfare and retirement benefit plans and related regulatory requirements.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Advanced Excel skills and experience working with HRIS and benefits administration systems.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.</p><p class="MsoNormal">•<span style="mso-tab-count:1;"> </span>A proactive mindset with a commitment to improving processes, controls, and the employee experience.</p><p class="MsoNormal">________________________________________</p><h4>About Us</h4><p>Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
