KS2 Teacher Leeds

We are seeking a committed and adaptable KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS9 area of Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role is offered as a maternity cover position, with a competitive daily rate of £160–£200, depending on experience. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning throughout the duration of the contract.

The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, academic progress, and positive relationships. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, structured environment where children are supported to succeed and develop confidence in their learning. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to support strong academic outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure continuity and consistency.

Pre‑requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching.
