Autofrettage I
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $23.50/hr
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Overtime:
- Mandatory: Fridays (same shift)
- Voluntary: Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Position Overview
This is an excellent entry-level manufacturing opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work. The Autofrettage Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and disassembling metal components while following strict safety and quality procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble fluid end components for pressure testing
- Connect and disconnect pressure hoses and testing equipment
- Prepare and stage components for testing
- Operate an overhead crane to safely transport products into the testing booth (training provided)
- Monitor testing processes and document results
- Ensure all products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools
- Comfortable with assembly and disassembly work
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety-focused mindset
- Comfortable learning to operate an overhead crane
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical work
- Willingness to work the required overtime schedule
- Background check and drug screen required
