By delivering personalized care that focuses on functional improvement, you'll empower individuals to overcome limitations and enjoy a better quality of life. Home Health PTA Needed in your Area! As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:<ul><li>Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients, working onsite in their homes, as developed by the Physical Therapist.</li><li>Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients.</li><li>Document client records and submit clinical documentation to the office on time each week.</li><li>Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services.</li><li>Notify Physical Therapist or Branch Director of any equipment failures, lack of supplies, or staff or client changes.</li><li>Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities.</li></ul><h1> Use your skills to make an impact </h1>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association</li><li>Current state license to practice Physical Therapy</li><li>Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation</li><li>Current CPR certification</li><li>Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population</li><li>Read, write, and speak fluent English</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant</li></ul> Pay Range • $41.00 - $57.00 pay per visit/unit • $64,000 - $87,500 per year base pay Additional InformationTB Statement:This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Driving Statement:This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
