Employment Solicitor | 1+ PQE | Sussex
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join a specialist Employment Law practice based in Sussex.
You'll work with a diverse client base of employers, employees, executives and senior managers, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The firm has an excellent reputation in the market and acts for a variety of international businesses across the USA, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload including:
- Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution
- Drafting settlement agreements, employment contracts and ET3 responses
- Advising executives and senior managers on contracts of employment, bonus arrangements, share options, incentive schemes, restrictive covenants and confidentiality issues
- Advising employers on disciplinary, grievance and dismissal procedures
- Discrimination claims, including sex, race, disability and age discrimination
- TUPE, business transactions and data protection matters
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Employment Law
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Commercial, pragmatic approach to advising clients
