Banquet Server

Server – Chinese Restaurant (Banquet/Line-Service Style)

Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
Status: Part-time, ~21 hours/week

About the Role

We are a high-volume Chinese restaurant with banquet and line-service style similar to Panda Express. You will deliver fast, friendly service, keep the line stocked and clean, and ensure guests have a great experience during peak hours.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests, take orders, answer menu questions, and process payments on POS.

• Serve items from a hot line/banquet setup, portioning accurately and quickly.

• Run food, refill sauces, utensils, napkins, and beverages.

• Buss and reset tables, maintain a clean dining area and service line.

• Support simple prep and stocking before, during, and after service.

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

• Assist with large party orders and catering pickups as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Customer service or restaurant experience preferred, especially fast-casual or buffet/banquet service.

• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.

• Reliable for Friday and Saturday shifts, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

• Clear communication and teamwork under pressure.

• Food Handler card or willingness to obtain.

• Bilingual a plus, especially Mandarin or Cantonese with English.
