Maintenance Technician – Community Center

Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Available occasionally
Pay: 19

We are hiring a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily upkeep and operations at a busy community center in Mesa, AZ. This role is responsible for general maintenance, basic repairs, and outdoor upkeep to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and facility support

• Complete work orders and routine repairs as assigned

• Assist with groundskeeping/landscape upkeep (light landscaping, outdoor clean-up, etc.)

• Support facility turns (room/event area set-up, break-down, and reset)

• Use and maintain hand tools and basic maintenance equipment

• Keep work areas clean and follow safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance, facilities, or general labor experience preferred

• Comfortable performing both indoor and outdoor work

• Ability to use basic hand tools (drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)

• Strong attendance, reliability, and ability to work independently

• Able to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as needed

Work Environment

This is an active role requiring walking, lifting, and working both indoors and outdoors depending on daily needs.
