Financial Controller - West End Real Estate Group

A privately-owned, high-quality London real estate business with a diverse portfolio including retail, hospitality, residential and office assets. The business operates within a family office structure and focuses on long-term asset value through active management and redevelopment.

Reporting to a highly impressive CFO, this is a key hire within the finance leadership team with responsibility for financial control, reporting and compliance across a complex group structure.

Key Responsibilities include

• Ownership of management accounts and financial reporting
• Lead year-end audit and statutory accounts
• Oversee tax compliance (VAT, corporation tax, CIS)
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Partner with operational teams on income and cost performance
• Manage and develop the finance team (3-4) 

Profile

• ACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years’ PQE Prior real estate / property sector experience
• Strong technical accounting and audit background
• Experience delivering statutory accounts and managing audits
• Confident working in a hands-on, detail-oriented role
• Strong stakeholder skills with the ability to operate in a discrete environment
