<p><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to take ownership of a key package of works on the Bryn Station accessibility upgrade project, specifically focused on the installation of a lift shaft. </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This role sits at the intersection of civil engineering, rail infrastructure, and temporary works, requiring strong leadership on-site alongside solid technical expertise. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating delivery, ensuring engineering compliance, and driving programme performance within a constrained rail environment. </span></p>
<p><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><u>Responsibilities:</u></span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Lead and manage a section of works from planning through to successful delivery </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Drive site operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality targets are met </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure seamless delivery </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Oversee and manage temporary works in line with approved designs and safety standards </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Maintain and review site documentation including QA records, ITPs, and as-built information </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Proactively identify and resolve engineering and delivery challenges </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Support programme management, sequencing, and short-term planning in a live rail environment </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Mentor and support Section Engineers and junior staff where required </span></p>
<p><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><u>Requirements:</u></span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Strong background in civil engineering with experience in structural works and/or earthworks </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Proven experience in a Sub Agent or senior Section Engineer role on infrastructure projects </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Essential: Previous experience working within rail environments </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Experience delivering station upgrades, accessibility schemes, or similar projects (highly desirable) </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Solid understanding of temporary works coordination and implementation </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Strong knowledge of industry standards, specifications, and best practices </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills </span><br /><span style=", arial, helvetica, sans-serif">– Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure </span></p>
