<p><em><strong>Senior Desktop Support Engineer – Trade Floor</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>The City, London</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Circa £60,000</strong></em></p> <p><em>Have you worked on a busy Trade Floor, supporting users with various aspects of IT within the last 12 months?</em></p> <p><em>Are you immediately available for a contract role, based in the City, onsite, 5 days a week?</em></p> <p><em>Do you have experience supporting trade apps, such as Fidessa or Trading Technologies (TT), Bloomberg, Dealer Boards etc?</em></p> <p>If you said <strong>yes</strong> to all, please get in touch!</p> <p>BD Talent are now recruiting for an international broker, based in the city, close to all the good tube stops, Bank, Liverpool Street, St Paul’s, Monument etc – making this an easy commute.</p> <p>We’re looking for someone with <strong>*Trade Floor* </strong>experience and someone who is experienced when it comes to providing IT/desktop support in this type of environment. Applicants must have experience supporting <strong>trading platforms</strong> such as <strong>Fidessa</strong> or <strong>Trading Technologies / TT.</strong></p> <p>Responsibilities would include the following so a good amount of experience in these areas is needed:</p> <ul> <li>Desktop, hardware, software and network support for 80+ brokers and users</li> <li>Managing software deployment and configuration for third party and in house applications, including market data / trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TT and Fidessa</li> <li>Virtual Infrastructure support &#8211; ESXi /VMware vSphere / vCentre Server</li> <li>Trading Turret / Dealer board support – IPC/Etrali, IP Trade etc.</li> <li>Active Directory &#8211; user account creation, group policy and computer administration</li> <li>Setup of new desktops / desk moves</li> <li>Exchange management &#8211; setup of new users email accounts, permissions, groups etc</li> <li>VPN and remote access administration, configuration and troubleshooting</li> <li>Video conferencing and meeting room setups</li> <li>Trade support – IT support across trading apps</li> </ul> <p>This will be an office based role, working on a shift rotation, either 6.30am – 2.30pm or 10am to 6pm.
