<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br />We are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer to oversee safety, environmental, and compliance efforts within our plant. The main responsibilities include developing programs to reduce risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a safe work environment.</p>
<p>The person in this role will be the main contact for safety and environmental issues, manage reporting and documentation, coordinate training and monitoring activities, and ensure regulatory compliance at the facility.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for OSHA, EPA, APCD, MSD, and other regulatory activities</li>
<li>Update safety rules, accident logs, and compliance documentation</li>
<li>Lead safety audits and training programs</li>
<li>Coordinate safety training including lockout/tagout procedures</li>
<li>Manage environmental reporting and air quality monitoring</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Title V permitting requirements</li>
<li>Oversee discharge permit coordination and waste disposal</li>
<li>Track and manage APCD-related fees</li>
<li>Support spill documentation and environmental compliance</li>
<li>Promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications / Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance in manufacturing</li>
<li>Experience with safety training, audits, and compliance reporting</li>
<li>Familiarity with hazardous waste handling and permitting processes</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li>
