About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager for a North Liverpool based primary school. This is a full-time, long-term role (52 weeks per year) with a daily rate of up to £200 per day.Main DutiesTo be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff.To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for thelearning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for allThis role will have direct management responsibility for staff and the unit budget.Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundariesappropriate to the professional positionWork proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with pupils and their families, parents/carers,governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of children and their familiesTake responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the schoolTake responsibility for ensuring all aspects of safeguarding are met including in line with site, local and national policiesand guidance.Professional Training and QualificationsNNEB, NVQ Level 3 Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalentLevel 2 qualification in MathsRelevant Early Years curriculum training.A commitment to undertake further training and developmentPaediatric First Aid Training or agreement to undertake within 3 monthsExperienceHave at least four years' experience of working in an early years or educational setting withchildren aged 5 and underMinimum 2 years' experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilitiesExperience of implementing a high-quality Early Years CurriculumPreparation for Ofsted inspections; and achievement of positive Ofsted reports.Has contributed to multi-disciplinary teams regarding the promotion of SEND, SafeguardingHealth & Safety and/or emotional well-being of children.Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments.Experience of working in a team and supporting colleaguesExperience of supporting children with SENDPersonal QualitiesProfessional attributesAn understanding of and a personal commitment to the Vision and Values of FazakerleyChildren's Centre NurseryPromoting all policies and procedures including those related to the Safeguarding and EqualA firm commitment to inclusion, equality and partnership with children, parents and carers.A firm commitment to promoting the inclusion of children who may be vulnerable or have a disability and or special educational need in the settingTo undertake training and supervision as required by managementTo work flexibly to support the overall operation of the settingThis post is subject to Enhanced CRB DisclosureTo join us you will also need:An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checksA CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)Legal right to work in the UKFluent level of English, spoken and written.If you're a Nursery Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity and would like to register with Tradewind Recruitment please apply now and take the next step in your teaching career!
