About the Role
<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong></p>
<p>The Manager of Facilities will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of CHQ, ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant environment. This role focuses on two key areas: Facility Operations and Project Coordination. The manager will maintain building assets, coordinate assigned projects, manage vendor contracts, and support organizational objectives with a focus on operational efficiency.</p>
<p><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee daily facility operations, including management of building assets, Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)</li>
<li>Coordinate assigned facility projects, such as office reconfigurations or minor renovations, working with external contractors to ensure timely completion</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety standards, including monitoring vendor compliance with corporate policies</li>
<li>Manage vendor contracts for facility services</li>
<li>Maintain accurate facility reporting for regulatory and internal purposes</li>
<li>Collaborate with leadership, legal, finance, and procurement teams to align facility operations with company goals</li>
<li>Monitor budgets and resources for assigned projects to ensure cost-effective execution</li>
<li>Communicate facility updates through internal platforms, such as the company intranet</li>
<li>Support and guide facilities staff to maintain operational standards</li>
<li>Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies, applying sound judgment to address issues</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or a related field or the equivalent</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Six years of experience in facilities management or a related field</li>
<li>LEED AP, PMP, or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification</li>
<li>Experience coordinating facility projects and managing vendor relationships</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Other Requirements: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and commercial systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems</li>
<li>Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality</li>
<li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with staff, leadership, and external vendors</li>
<li>Effective project coordination skills with a focus on operational efficiency</li>
<li>Ability to respond effectively to facility-related emergencies</li>
