Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support Mainstream Primary School – Christchurch Start Date: After the Easter Holidays Full Time | Long Term Opportunity
Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role?
One of our lovely and welcoming mainstream primary schools in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who requires additional support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and nurturing school environment.
The Role:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Working 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs
Providing tailored academic and emotional support
Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning experience
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
Be patient, resilient and nurturing in their approach
Be confident adapting learning to meet individual needs
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to supporting the child’s development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
