About the Role

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Technical Advisor. This resource will be working Remotely. Job Description: • Review outputs, outcomes and lessons from Client’s work in Ukraine and recommend ways to address specific gaps and weaknesses, with prioritization of key transferable insights relevant to other crisis contexts. • Provide guidance to Client’s planning of future work in other regions, specifically Gaza, as well as possibly Syria and Sudan, taking into consideration requirements of the relevant project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). • Review and analyze relevant background materials provided by client, including the Urban Recovery Framework and BMZ-related strategic documents. • Support conceptual development and structured planning frameworks around recovery-focused approaches, including identification of key operational steps and sequencing considerations. • Participate in consultations and discussions with client personnel and stakeholders. • Provide written and/or verbal inputs to inform internal planning and decision-making, as agreed with client at the outset of the consultancy. Deliverables Deliverables include the following and can be refined at the outset of the consultancy: • An analytical review report (Word and PowerPoint document) of Client’s work in Ukraine and recommendations addressing specific challenges weaknesses that will inform Client’s future activities in conflict-post-conflict situations, including clearly prioritized and actionable recommendations. • Advisory notes (Word and PowerPoint documents) to guide Client’s planning of future work in other regions, specifically Gaza, as well as possibly Syria and Sudan, with region-specific considerations and indicative entry points for engagement. • Conceptual plans and framework (Word and PowerPoint documents) for client for planning and establishing processes and capacity for future activities in conflict and post-conflict regions, outlining key processes, roles, and minimum capacities required. • Planning and conducting up to three workshops on substantive topics covered in the consultancy to client personnel, partners and other stakeholders, subject to agreement on priority topics and availability of stakeholders.
