About the Role
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join the dispatch team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in dispatch operations and forklift driving to join a well-established company.
Start date: ASAP
Training will be provided on a double day shift for approximately 3–4 weeks.
Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour
Hours:
Double Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday:
Alternating shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00
Friday:
05:00-12:00 and 12:00-19:00
(39 hours paid per week)
Saturday overtime - 1.5x pay
Sunday overtime - 2x pay
Duties Will Include:
Loading lorries in a fast-paced dispatch environment
Scanning products from conversion line into storage locations
Ensuring accurate and timely movement of stock
Following all health & safety procedures
General warehouse and dispatch duties as required
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
Previous experience in dispatch/warehouse loading
Ability to use scanners and manage inventory systems
Comfortable working night shifts after initial training
Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual handling
