Director of Human Resources
Banking | Leadership | Talent Strategy

We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy and operations for a growing bank. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support business goals while delivering an exceptional teammate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all HR functions including talent acquisition, teammate relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on workforce planning, retention, and succession
  • Manage and mentor the HR team and handle complex employee relations matters
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Develop HR policies, programs, and learning initiatives that support growth and engagement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and service-focused workplace culture
  • Maintain regular on-site presence during standard business hours
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of HR management experience (banking or regulated environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance
  • Proven leader with a servant-leadership mindset
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly desired
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
