We are seeking an experienced
Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy and operations for a growing bank. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support business goals while delivering an exceptional teammate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all HR functions including talent acquisition, teammate relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on workforce planning, retention, and succession
- Manage and mentor the HR team and handle complex employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Develop HR policies, programs, and learning initiatives that support growth and engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and service-focused workplace culture
- Maintain regular on-site presence during standard business hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of HR management experience (banking or regulated environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance
- Proven leader with a servant-leadership mindset
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
