An Atlanta-based university is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II to help keep one of the city’s most respected campuses running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll support academic buildings, residential facilities, research spaces, and administrative offices — playing a key part in maintaining the daily operations of a large, dynamic campus environment.

Skills and Experience
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who can keep buildings operating safely and efficiently.
Required Experience:
2+ years of general building or facility maintenance experience
Experience performing basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, minor leaks)
Ability to replace lighting, switches, outlets, and basic electrical components
Basic HVAC knowledge (changing filters, simple troubleshooting)
Carpentry skills (drywall patching, door and lock repair, ceiling tile replacement)
Experience in completing preventive maintenance tasks
Ability to use a mobile device or work order system
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, standing)
Valid driver’s license (if required)
Preferred Experience:
Apartment, hotel, hospital, or commercial building maintenance
Experience in a large campus or multi-building environment
Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance software
OSHA safety knowledge
