Senior/Staff Data Analyst Location: Other, Central Europe Seniority: Senior Technologies: Data, Product/Analyst We are looking for a Data Analyst to help ensure the quality and reliability of data used across our client’s data platform. Our partner is a leading European online fashion & beauty retailer that uses modern data technologies to power personalized shopping experiences and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will work with Databricks and analytical tools to compare existing and new data streams, identify discrepancies, investigate data quality issues, and support the reliability of key business metrics. You will collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to troubleshoot issues, track improvements, and present insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable way. Build required Databricks notebooks/visualisations to compare existing streams and new streams as defined in Data Comparison Playbook. Schedule them so they can run daily and present fresh data every morning. Troubleshoot and identify the root cause for missing data and volume discrepancies Open data quality issues to respective teams and follow up the fixes Report data quality improvements and current comparisons in an understandable format to all stakeholders and leadership. 8+ years of commercial experience Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets Experience with Databricks Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data discrepancies Experience with data quality checks, data validation, or data comparison Ability to work with data pipelines and event-based data streams Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues Discover what it’s like to work with us These might interest you Join Our Team!
