<p><strong>Overview</strong><br />My client is looking to appoint a <strong>Senior Sustainability Consultant</strong> to join their growing consultancy in the Reading area.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a <strong>key role within a small but expanding team</strong>, with real scope to influence projects, clients, and the wider direction of the business. You’ll be someone who can <strong>hit the ground running</strong>, taking ownership of projects and acting as a trusted point of contact for both clients and internal teams.</p>
<p>With a strong pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, this role offers a clear pathway to <strong>Associate Director level</strong> in the coming years.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the delivery of Planning Energy and Sustainability Strategies</li>
<li>Carry out and oversee SAP, SBEM, water efficiency, and U-value calculations</li>
<li>Deliver Part O overheating and daylight/sunlight modelling using IES</li>
<li>Provide expert guidance on Approved Documents L, F, and E</li>
<li>Manage projects across all stages, from planning through to completion</li>
<li>Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, and design teams</li>
<li>Support and mentor junior team members where required</li>
<li>Contribute to business growth, client relationships, and new opportunities</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a Sustainability Consultant role within the built environment</li>
<li>Strong background in Part L, SAP, and SBEM assessments</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with IES modelling (including Part O)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations</li>
<li>Ability to manage projects independently and communicate confidently with clients</li>
<li>A proactive, driven mindset with an interest in taking on more responsibility</li>
</ul>
