About the Role
We are recruiting a skilled inspection operative to join our team at IBF in Holyhead! <br><br> <br><br>Key responsibilities will include: <br><br>Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers. <br><br>• Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE <br><br>• Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested <br><br>• Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process <br><br>• Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training <br><br>• Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives <br><br>• Maintain the inspection environment following training <br><br>• COSHH Awareness following training <br><br>• Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices <br><br>• Champion a health and safety culture <br><br> <br><br>The ideal candidate will have: <br><br>Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment <br><br>Strong warehouse system experience <br><br>A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work <br><br>Experience of working to agreed targets <br><br>Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook <br><br>Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles. <br><br>Forklift licence/experience ideal. <br><br><br><br>Conditions: <br><br>Shift patterns will be any 4/7– 12hrs per day <br><br>You are required to work ays and nights 6am-6pm/6pm-6am <br><br>Weekly or monthly pay available <br><br> <br><br>To be eligible you need: <br><br>NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check) <br><br>Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years. <br><br>The right to work in the UK
