About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an English Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a secondary school in the Skipton area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026.

A large and well‑established Secondary setting known for its strong vocational pathways and modern facilities. The environment is fast‑paced, supportive and focused on helping learners progress into employment or higher study. Staff work collaboratively, with a clear emphasis on high‑quality teaching and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Teaching English curriculum including literature and language
•  Preparing pupils for exams at KS4
•  Marking and feedback to support progress
•  Differentiating lessons for varied abilities

Pre-requisites:

•  UK English curriculum including literature and language
•  Strong subject knowledge for KS3–KS5
•  Marking and feedback aligned with UK standards
•  Differentiation skills for varied learning needs
