About the Role
<p><b>HGV Workshop Mechanic</b></p>
<p>Location: Southery, Downham Market, Norfolk</p>
<p>Our client is a family run business seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Mechanic to join their workshop team. You will be key in maintaining their modern mixed fleet of HGV vehicles, tankers and trailers.</p>
<p><b>Qualifications / Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.</li>
<li>Experience in HGV Mechanics.</li>
<li>Class 1 or 2 license beneficial.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Role:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead diagnostics, service and repair of our client’s mixed fleet of HGV vehicles – Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, Iveco.</li>
<li>Handle complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system faults.</li>
<li>Mentor and guide Junior Mechanic/s.</li>
<li>Conduct planned maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.</li>
