Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled and motivated Call Center Associate for a well-known health care facility in the area of Shafter, CA. You will be responsible for receiving calls from patients and helping them with their appointment needs. Calling patients to make appointments and promote company services by consulting, gathering information, achievement, organizational quality, and the patient centered medical home philosophy we operate by incorporate core organizational values of quality, respect, integrity, partnership, and compassion in all activities and decisions.

• Full Time
• Temp to Hire
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Pay Rate: $21.00/HR

 

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service when greeting patients and handling calls.
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments and demographics.
• Answer and route incoming calls appropriately.
• Register patients per protocols and conduct follow-ups as needed.
• Contact and schedule patients for services.
• Promote services by assessing patient needs.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Address patient inquiries and disputes, directing them to the appropriate staff.
• Explain available services, payment options, and billing procedures.
• Perform tasks within the electronic health records system.
• Initiate medication refill requests.
• Follow call center policies and procedures.
