Hardip Marwah: General Manager, Hyatt Regency MumbaiFinance ManagerSummary

The Standard, Mexico City arrives in the historic Tabacalera neighborhood with character, color and a signature wink. The hotel will feature 206 rooms and suites, 27 branded residences and a leafy “secret” garden sure to become the city’s favorite hideaway. Our debut in Latin America raises the aesthetic stakes, drawing from sun-washed CDMX architecture and a sensual, organic palette.

A bright café and late-night diner keep the ground floor lively from early mornings to the final nightcap. Above it all, a rooftop pool, signature restaurant and outdoor bar take in striking views of the Monumento a la Revolución. Each room and residence includes a private balcony, offering a front-row seat to the city.

The spa delivers thoughtful indulgence with a hydrotherapy, saunas and pools, plus a fitness studio with classes from yoga to HIIT. Set among Tabacalera’s galleries and creative corners, The Standard, Mexico City blends social energy with laid-back escapism in a way only The Standard can.

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager who will bring our Anything but Standard ethos to life and play a key role in shaping The Standard, Mexico City.

The Vibe

At The Standard, we don’t just manage numbers, we tell the story behind them. As our Finance Manager, you’ll be the brains behind the balance, the guardian of smart decisions, and the partner who keeps our creativity grounded in solid financial strategy. You’ll move fast, think sharp, and bring clarity to complexity; all while keeping things refreshingly human.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the financial rhythm of the business, from daily operations to long-term strategy.
  • Turn data into insight, and insight into action for leadership.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting with a clear eye on growth, creativity, and sustainability.
  • Keep our reporting accurate, timely, and anything but boring.
  • Watch over cash flow and performance.
  • Run smooth month-end and year-end closes (no drama, just precision).
  • Strengthen controls and processes without slowing us down.
  • Navigate audits, compliance, and regulations with confidence and zero fuss.
  • Partner with senior leaders to spot risks, unlock opportunities, and make bold but smart moves.
  • Lead and inspire a finance team that’s as sharp as it is collaborative.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • A solid foundation in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience, you’ve been around the block and know how to handle it.
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
  • Comfort with ERP systems and serious Excel skills (yes, we mean it).
  • A sharp analytical mind with a taste for problem-solving.
  • Strong communication, you can translate numbers into stories people actually understand.
  • Leadership skills that balance rigor with empathy.
