About the Role

Support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused planning service, working on planning applications, enforcement cases, and policy development. Key Responsibilities: Process and assess planning applications within agreed timescales Respond to planning and enforcement appeals Handle enquiries from applicants, agents, and stakeholders Support planning policy development and service improvements Contribute to maintaining high customer satisfaction Skills & Experience: Experience with planning applications and/or enforcement cases Knowledge of planning legislation and policy Strong report writing and communication skill Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Confident using planning systems and Microsoft Office Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field Eligible for, currently undertaking, or willing to complete RTPI-supported postgraduate planning training
