About the Role

We're working with a progressive, agriculture-focused business delivering projects across the rural and infrastructure sectors. They're now looking for an Environmental Advisor to support work on soils, earthworks and environmental compliance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a farming or land-based background to apply their knowledge on-site, while gaining experience across a wide range of projects.

The Role

  • Provide a key interface between agricultural land management and construction delivery, ensuring soil handling and earthworks support successful reinstatement with minimal long-term damage
  • Support delivery of construction and rural infrastructure projects
  • Monitor soil handling, earthworks and reinstatement on-site
  • Complete Records of Condition (RoCs) and site inspections
  • Ensure works align with Soil Management Plans and best practice
  • Identify risks around soil structure, trafficking and compaction
  • Assist with landowner liaison and environmental compliance

About You

Essential:

  • Degree (or working towards) in Agriculture, Environmental Management or similar
  • Experience in farming, construction, utilities or land-based projects
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the UK

Desirable:

  • Good understanding of UK farming systems and soil management
  • CSCS/SHEA card or experience with mapping tools (e.g. LandApp)

Why Apply?

  • Combine practical farming knowledge with environmental project work
  • Exposure to a wide range of rural and infrastructure projects
  • Opportunity to gain experience across other areas of the business, including farm consultancy
  • Structured training and long-term career development
