<p><strong>Job Description </strong></p>
<p>This role entails constructing industrial electro-mechanical reel products through the assembly of structural, mechanical, and electrical components based on production documentation, drawings, wiring instructions, and quality standards. Individuals must exhibit great workmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to resolve practical assembly issues within a team setting.</p>
<p>The chosen candidate should be proactive, quality-focused, and proficient in utilizing production tools, measuring devices, wiring instructions, and shop protocols to finalize accurate assemblies. Additionally, the position may involve providing insights to engineering, manufacturing, sales, or service teams in instances where product, drawing, or customer-specific matters require clarification.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>· Construct mechanical, structural, and electrical components into finalized reel products per work orders, drawings, and instructions.</p>
<p>· Wire installations and connection of color-coded wires in accordance with wiring specifications and production stipulations.</p>
<p>· Operate shop equipment like cut-off saws, drill presses, hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.</p>
<p>· Test, adjust, examine, and validate electrical and mechanical assemblies for fit, function, and quality.</p>
<p>· Review diagrams, production orders, and customer requirements; escalate unclear or incorrect information to supervisors or engineering.</p>
<p>· Verify the accuracy of data from engineering, sales, and manufacturing to ensure the end product aligns with customer expectations.</p>
<p>· Convey corrections or changes to prevent the recurrence of quality issues in future assemblies.</p>
<p>· Provide support for field service or start-up opportunities, as necessary and qualified.</p>
<p>· Adhere to 5S, safety, quality, and environmental protocols in the workspace.</p>
<p>Background and Skills</p>
<p>· High school diploma or GED required; related technical training or assembly experience preferred.</p>
<p>· Two to five years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience is strongly preferred.</p>
<p>· Proficiency in operating cut-off saws, drill presses, hand tools, and power tools.</p>
<p>· Ability to utilize measurement tools and perform basic shop math involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.</p>
<p>· Experience in reading blueprints, drawings, wiring documents, or procedures is advantageous.</p>
<p>· Soldering skills are beneficial.</p>
<p>· Capable of interpreting safety rules, operational instructions, maintenance directions, and procedure manuals.</p>
<p>· Willingness and capability to complete in-house forklift and overhead crane certification before operating required equipment.</p>
<p>Work Environment / Physical Requirements</p>
<p>· Manufacturing setting involving regular standing, walking, reaching, handling parts, and working near moving mechanical apparatus.</p>
<p>· Must be able to lift and move heavy items as necessary for the role and adhere to safe material-handling practices.</p>
<p>· Visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, and focus adjustment are vital for quality and assembly work.</p>
<p>· Occasional exposure to humidity, fumes, airborne particles, or moderate shop noise may occur.</p>
