Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence, ensuring all participants meet operational standards. Maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to management. Requirements and Skills: Educational Background: A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred. A Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered. Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Engineer, or similar. Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations. At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards. Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and other training tools. Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident in delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences in both classroom and on-site settings. Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable addressing groups and facilitating both technical and hands-on learning. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive operational and instructional experience, who are passionate about training and equipping the next generation of Operations Technicians and Engineers with the skills required to excel in a refinery environment.
