About the Role
In this role as a part of the product engineering team you will be focused on High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) testing, developing novel wafer and package level ATE testing strategies of Lightmatter’s Silicon Photonics products. You will be expected to support customer deployment and related technical issues.
Responsibilities
Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test solutions for Lightmatter's Silicon Photonics products
Pre-silicon responsibilities include understanding product features, developing characterization and manufacturing test plans, highlighting test coverage holes.
Actively participate with multi-functional teams including Product Development Engineering, DFT and design to efficiently debug product failures, implement optimal solutions, and drive correlation between simulation, bench, and tester environments
Collaborate with OSAT/test vendors to develop ATE test SW and hardware infrastructure.
Work with manufacturing teams/partners to increase yields, test coverage, capacity, and reduce production costs.
Partner and drive all wafer and package level manufacturing activities by working closely with foundry and assembly houses.
Lead test time reduction for ramping to HVM.
Work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work
Write and maintain scripts/tools for the test engineering group, enhancing the group’s overall productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
8+ years of ATE Test Development Experience using Advantest V93000 or Teradyne.
Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Java.
Experience maintaining and releasing ATE test programs to OSAT.
Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, such as excel, JMP, etc
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Mixed Signal and high speed Serdes test experience
Understanding of DFT insertion techniques including Scan.
