Permanent /Software & Request Fulfilment Manager / Digital Services / Full time  

Working pattern: This is a full-time post working 35 hours per week. We’re committed to supporting staff to achieve a healthy work-life balance and are happy to talk about flexible working. This is a hybrid role, working from Holyrood, and from home.

About the role 

This is an excellent opportunity to join Digital Services as a Software & Request Fulfilment Manager. To see where the office sits within the organisation, you can view our organisation chart here. 

The Digital Services Office is responsible for developing and maintaining the IT services and their underlying infrastructure which support and enable the business of the Parliament and its Members. 

The office supports approximately 1600 network users including those at Holyrood and the remote support of constituency and regional offices. Our environment is mainly Windows 11 and Office 365, with business applications in use by the parliamentary service.  

As Software & Request Fulfilment Manager you will review and authorise customer requests for software and hardware, oversee annual software renewals, and administer call logging and device management systems for the team.

About you 

The successful candidate will be experienced in the management of key third party software assets, liaising with suppliers over current and future provision, overseeing service requests, assisting software projects into service and reporting on the level of service achieved. 

You’ll demonstrate a high level of personal credibility with excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

If your application is successful, you’ll be invited to attend an interview. Interviews will be held week commencing 8 June, although this is subject to change.  

Offers will be awarded based on merit. For this role, the following weighting is used to come to a final score on which offers will be based. Application 20%, Interview 80%.
